Hello and Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
Sorry it has been so long since I have last posted. =( We have been really busy and have done tons of things since then (or at least it seems so)! I will tell you about them biggest things we have done.
November 7-8 we were up at camp so my mom could go to the scrapbooking retreat they had, the 9 we drove about and hour away to the Kalahari Resorts and Waterpark!!! we spent Sunday night there and drove home Monday night. We had a lot of fun.
We have been going to our friends church since October so that is good.
For Thanksgiving us kids all picked one or two things to make. The day afterwards some of us went shopping. I got up a 2:30am and went to Best Buy with my dad so we could get 2 mp3 players, one for me and one for our friend (for her birthday). Then we went to Wal-Mart and got a card for my sisters camera but it was a SD-HC and that kind doesn't work in her camera so we had to bring that back. Then we went home and stayed for about a half an hour then we went to Office Max with Daniel to get some things. While we were there my mom, who had gone shopping with our little van at about 5:30am, called my dad and said she was stuck at a gas station in Burlington because the front wheels of the van we pointing in at each other. So we went home, my dad got his tools, and then we went to Burlington. The tirod had popped off so my dad wired it back together, slowly drove next door to the car place, and they said they would fix it. It was ready for my parents to pick up on Monday. After we went home we all wentand got our Christmas tree, ate lunch, and went to Menards to get paint for us three older girls room.
The Sunday following Thanksgiving the Babiaks came over after church for lunch and supper and we also took their Christmas picture. That was really fun but they only come to our house about two times a year.
On December 20 we went to the Babiaks house for Jared's birthday party. He turned 5 and had a Narnia party. Everyone was supposed to dress up as a character. Afterwards our two families exchanged Christmas gifts.
Last night us five older kids and my dad went to the Christmas Eve service at the Babiak's church. When we came home we all opened one present.
This morning, I got up at 6:00 because that was the earliest we were allowed to get up today, then Daniel woke up, then Samantha, Paige, Pete, and Laurel got up. And we all opened our stockings. Us five older kids each got a packet of Mocha Cappuccino hot chocolate, and the boys got a bag of beef jerky and us girls got a little roll thing with frosting on it. Joy and Laurel each got a little roll thing and a package of dark chocolate hot chocolate. Levi is still sleeping so I don't know what he got. We all like our hot chocolate, it was very good.
Well I will try to post some pictures later if I can.
Emily
